First look at Brisbane’s $3.7 billion Olympic precinct
Newly revealed plans for Brisbane’s 2032 Olympic site include a proposal for a new train station which will allow easier public access to the 63,000-seat stadium.
The $3.7 billion stadium is set to be built on the southern end of Victoria Park, with plans for a second pedestrian bridge connecting the stadium to the $650 million national aquatic centre.
The Federal government is reportedly going to reallocate $1 billion in funding to the main stadium.
