CRA board approves $5 million for Meridian Street pedestrian and street-safety project The Tallahassee Community Redevelopment Agency approved a $5 million project to add sidewalks, a multi-use path, enclosed drainage and street trees along Meridian Street between Orange Avenue and Magnolia Drive. Staff said the work would improve safety and connectivity for pedestrians, cyclists and transit riders; design would take about two years.
