And always: when you hurt someone, even if time is passed, if you didn’t mean it (most of the time we don’t). Sometimes: if it cost you something, but what does it cost?. Never: you can’t do it authentically, you need to understand in order to apologize, you’d cause more harm to them by doing so.

A scatterplot is shown, with most points concentrated in an oval, wider than tall, which has generated a straight-line regression that decreases somewhat from left to right. The horizontal axis is labeled "IQ", with a scale that goes from 40 to 160. The vertical scale is labeled "Testosterone (nanograms per deciliter)", with a scale that goes from zero to 1700. The straight line is labeled as "Linear Fit (R^2=0.19)". The regression line shows a negative relationship between intelligence (as measured by IQ) and a man's testosterone. In other words, the greater the testosterone, the lower the intelligence, and vice versa. The graph's header reads "Testosterone vs IQ: Sample from 15,439 Natural Men, from the Nat. Long. Study of Adolescent to Adult Health (Add Health, Wave 5, 2018)". In the scatterplot, there is one point, clearly an outlier, near the top right corner of the rectangle bounding the data points. In other words, there was, within the data set, one man with a very high measure of testosterone who was also, contrary to the rest of the data, very highly intelligent. Above the graphing area, poster "amrit" says, "I think about this dude all the time".
