Last weekend our Beavers and Cubs had a great time at Knockadoon Camp. They had a busy schedule with cliff walks, campfire, disco, ... Everyone went home exhausted - not just our scouters!

That's a wrap! Many thanks to everyone who bought tickets for our Twelve Days of Christmas Draw. Last few tickets were sold today. Fingers crossed that we will receive a postcard from Barcelona or Vegas next year!

Our patrol had to use all their navigational skills to complete this weekends MPC in very challenging conditions. We are very proud of their achievement! Many thanks to the staff and our scouters for making adventures like this possible.

Last weekend's Connaught MPC was a true baptism by fire for our gang. A tough route (that steep and long ascent of Croaghan ...) and challenging weather conditions (low temperatures, fog, rain, strong winds) thrown in for good measure.

Scouting Ireland MUST apologise for their role in Aoife Winterlich's death.
It is not good enough to say they are sorry "for the tragic loss", when she was under their duty of care.
Aoife's family need an independent inquiry into this.
