In our final post of the #SENSEseries, we’re getting to know Taylor Steed, the Social Media Coordinator of SENSE. She is responsible for the Society’s communication on social media. She promotes SENSE events, publishes content, and curates online information relevant to language professionals.
In this week’s #SENSEseries, we are learning more about our courageous content coordinator, Paula! She is responsible for the Blog and Newsletter. Paula works closely with a team of writers and editors to ensure that relevant content is published on SENSE’s various communication channels.
In this week’s #SENSEseries, we are getting to know the SIG & Social Events Coordinator (SSEC), Becky Tomas. She is the EC's liaison with the Special Interest Groups (SIGs). She also organizes SENSE's social events and brainstorms ideas for new speakers and meeting topics.
In addition to your illustrious EC, SENSE is supported by a dedicated team of Team Leaders. Over the next few weeks of our #SENSEseries, we will meet the TLs and learn about their contributions to SENSE.
In this week’s #SENSEseries, we are getting to know Samuel Murray, our fabulous Web Manager. He assists the EC in strategic planning for the website. He oversees the SENSE website and its team of volunteers and coordinates with our external developer to ensure that the website runs smoothly.
In this week’s #SENSEseries, we are getting to know Hans, our new SENSE Treasurer. Hans is responsible for the Society's financial matters. Hans coordinates the annual budget, and monitors and maintains the Society’s overall financial health, and advises the EC on spending.
In this week’s #SENSEseries, we’re getting to know our wonderful secretary, Margreet! She deals with the incoming mail and general Society business. The Secretary compiles and circulates the agenda and minutes of EC meetings and the AGM.
In this week's #SENSEseries, we are getting to know Liz Cross, the Chair of SENSE. She is our spokesperson and represents the Society in public, and is responsible for overseeing EC activities, chairing EC meetings, monitoring the progress of activities between EC meetings, and representing the EC.
