Not feeling well, but hanging in there. Back for another week of #TrademarkWatch2025 In all likelihood, we won’t know the title for #Sentai2026 till next month, but can’t hurt to keep an eye out.
#Sentai2026 So begins another year of trademark watch. I won’t be posting about it constantly, since now trademarks can drop on any weekday in Japan, but I will be keeping an eye out.
#Sentai2026 I’ve begun actively keeping an eye out for trademark info; while not guaranteed, the early Zeztz trademark would lend credibility to the idea that the new Sentai trademark might appear earlier too. We shall see :)
#Sentai2026 The earliest we’ve gotten a trademark in recent memory for Sentai is Gokaiger with 8/25. I’m fairly confident we beat that this year, but by how much is anyone’s guess.
#Sentai2026 Will start actively checking for trademarks in July: I don’t believe it will show up till around August, but would rather err on the side of caution. What I’m confident in is that we’re gonna see it sooner rather than later, just like the new Rider trademark.
