This new minimalist and abstract diagram brings us to Sétif, one of Algeria's main cities and home to more than 300.000 people The first 23km-line has been in operation since 2018, roughly stretching along an east-west axis across the urban area and branching out into two spurs in the eastern part of town A second line was proposed following a north-south axis so as to connect central neighborhoods of Sétif to industrial areas further down south; although once again, it seems that project is currently suspended for financial reasons Oddly enough, it appears neither line 1 nor line 2 were projected to offer a direct connection to the city's main railway station, even though some stops on the central section bring riders within walking distance of the station
