Deluxe meshi, which is a clay pot with salmon, unagi, and roe. The rice at the bottom gets crispy, which makes it extra delicious.
Yaki onigiri, or deep fried rice balls. These were filled with roe and deep fried to perfection on both sides. They are topped with sliced green onion.
A bowl of one large scoop of yuzu sherbert to share. Yuzu is a citrus fruit that is very popular in Asian cuisines. It is tart but very fragrant. It looks like a mandarin orange, except yellow with a rough exterior.
For dinner, we had a deluxe meshi, which was a #claypot with #seafood. My favorite dish, however, was the yaki #onigiri. So buttery and deep fried to perfection!!
I am a fiend for #yuzu and we had been getting yuzu drinks at all the restaurants. This one had a very tasty #sherbert though!! ๐ฒ๐๐๐ง
