War on #nature goes on; entire hedge on RHS of picture has been cut down by Bellway. I tried to save it, but rejected by #Braintree DC. To be fair, BDC did refuse planning but it was granted on Appeal.
2 Oak trees in #SilverEnd also face destruction.
Planning applications to fell both of them.
Pleased to have confirmation last night at #Braintree DC Budget meeting that Green cllr requests for solar panels on #SilverEnd village hall are included in draft Budget; £61k.
Makes sense that when roof is replaced (scheduled work) solar panels are added on the largest village hall in England.
#SilverEnd village community Christmas this evening - lots turned out despite the stormy weather.
A friendly annual event with many local craft stalls and village organisations represented.
