Captain Archer, seconds after becoming the first (known) person to be sent through a Transporter--and also (as it was unexpected) the moment he realizes it's happened. He is doubled over holding his chest, staring intently at the transporter operator off-camera. His mouth hangs open and his eyes are open very wide, with his eyebrows raised. It is a moment of unbridled shock and amazement; his sense of self-preservation must be going haywire! Thankfully, all appears well, physically. Artistically, this is the baptism of Captain Archer into the Star Trek franchise!
