When you do they autoreply with a new case ID to use in an infinite loop. And we trust them with space exploration! Support is a bad joke 🙄

We also tried #CrashPlan #backup. It’s true zero knowledge with user private key. We found it slower than #SpiderOak to upload but more reliable to download backups although still spends a long time syncing and can take a long time to seed the backup. It’s stable and ok but not as fast as #idrive360

A #backup solution we recommend is #iDrive360 which can have a private key for encryption of data. However it does not encrypt file names which can be an issue for some compliance. In tests it was able to restore 2Tb in 12 hours over a gigabit fibre connection compared to 2Gb on a #SpiderOak restore

Been evaluating secure #backup solutions for a few years. #SpiderOak was one. We had an unlimited account & have spent the last 2 years trying unsuccessfully to restore our data. It’s not a backup if it’s impossible to restore your #data. They seem to have abandoned their SpiderOak One customers. ☹️
