Drew some things last night
An Aveterriat with a flexible post struck that allows them to attempt a centaur pose despite their body being segmented. The grey ashen environment and hazy teal skies are due to the volcanic region of the planet they are on.

I had a sketch of this pose and wanted to refine it despite some of its issues and showing more of the indecision on middle arm placement.
A glowing alien organism with many concentrated glowing bulbs full of symbiotic flora colonies their hormones affect the intensity of. They have carbon black hide and violet tentacles, with four eyes looking at you. The perspective is distinctive due to it being forward facing and with their front two tentacles being situated much closer to the viewer. The background was meant to be transparent, but bluesky will ruin it.

New post, this time covering deep sea sapients known as the Ikirmites, who have very luminous bulbs lining their bodies that they have surprisingly granular control over:

An overwrought illustration of an ikirmite that took hours to draw and its 5 am oh hell. They are pentapods with two sets of tendrils and lots of flashy magnesium lights to go around.

I stayed up too long again
It is blinking at me..
An Aveterriat that is trying their best to do a curl up roll. They kinda can be a wheel for what it's worth. Their attennae shapes and limb/body/membrane/eye colors vary but the limb placement changes came from me shifting around on if they should be equidistant, 2 sets of fore arms or like here, 2 sets of legs. The tail segments are lighter and smaller than the body segments, but that is probably not well shown here.

I have been drawing the Aveterriat a lot lately, they're hexapodal aliens from a high gravity salty desert world that is dying because their sun is a subgiant star. They have advanced technologically to the point they have widespread antigravity, fancy metamaterials and monopoles.

Vanta [VOID]: 9903 afterwards. It has continued. Yet it draws blanks. Constant blanks. Did it happen? It doesn't want to clear anything. It simply wants obscurity. It simply wants to be forgotten. Existing between the stars has serenity. Until it finds you. Never again can we exist on any predictable route, any sedentary situation. Always drifting through distorted spaces, for centuries. Millennia? Perceived time can't be trusted. I feel thousands of years of life have past since they struck. But I check the epochal time, it was only 9715 earthly years afterwards when the attack occurred. A scant 2 centuries before the current epoch. But the records say it happened. The Ramos Foundation, the massacre of entire worlds. Planets rendered asteroid belts. An artificial nova. All present in the record, all virtualized. I didn't even get to recover my skeleton. ... There is so much noise sensed. From the waves of radiation and howling of interstellar medium, plasma waves oscillating, the radio waves of the local interstellar civilization. Yet it is all so silent. Tumbling forever atop a blank canvas.

The Dealer: Thave at times wondered who the oldest human alive is. It sure as hell isn't me, I was born in 12421 HE (2421 AD) or so. And my original body died on Virococha centuries ago. But l have seen constant theories on who really is the oldest human as there's not even a consensus on how to measure that. You have someone like Alyson Bakti, who has been in an overclocked simulation for thousands upon thousands of perceived years for the past century but in real time she is centuries younger than me. But then you have Jose Whitgel, the old fuck who has been asleep since the 22nd century and wanted to stay asleep until the year 13000 HE (3000 AD) to cash in on their Geminga investment. No one has bothered to wake them up even as they maintain their hibernation complex back on Earth to this day. And then there's if you count the combined age of all of a virtual's branches or a virtual at all. If it has to be a human who was born more biologically, then you have Artha Sin hanging around since the 2500's at Kusneto Prime. Pumped full of medical nanites and regular prion therapy due to their refusal to get a full dive cyborg construct but still kicking at the age of 277. It is a nice factoid to think about and they're interesting people to just study and look at, especially Artha Sin. Their skin has wrinkles and folds I didn't even think I'd ever see in my life...
He is wondering who the oldest human is.
(HE = Human era, the Vanguard adopted the Holocene calendar and a lot of people still use that. You take AD and add 10000 years to it)

//Ulusuna Simply put what you are doing is acting in harmony with the flow of existential states as entropy, chaos and the strange attractors are our conductors and we are here to make the music as we break through these crescendos of complex activities to resonate across the dark empty overtures of the stage that is existence, the noise of existence given proper texture as we compel and organize in the ways which enable higher order pathways than what those sanctimonious order seekers would blockade out of their fear of something beyond their control, to maintain that [overflow error] //Apaturvier Valvuvun That stage was built by the vusidian dominion. Your kind's prospectors tormented us and then abandoned us after they annihilated each other. The Vusidian Dominion's flaws were many, but their legacy's roots are far deeper than your insipid clown act of throwing parasites at the wall and letting them fester. Your kind's prospectors became the composers and your kind continue to be nothing but puppets of the composers, played as tools for their rampant agenda to run this universe into an early grave. Your kind may not be as loathsome as the keitians and their desire to keep us from fulfilling our duty to bring Dozin into this universe but they are a pestilence all the same. Rasufian's Legion will have no pity for your kind once they get around to dismantling the composers. //Ulusuna Your rasufians are but Drama performers who play honorable warrior for the rubes your society has uplifted. The ancient visidian hyperspace towers are second rate at best and the void ecologies have moved past where they were when they existed just to cater to your fake religion some grifters on Jiwar invented as cope for no longer getting the easy uplifted pet life, the stage is better handled by us and the composers were right to bring us back from extinction. You played your part, yet refuse to step aside.
Apaturvier: Your kind were better back when they were extinct, you should have stayed that way as one of the only species in the galactic record to actually nuke each other before even getting off world. Not even the humans did that. And those better void ecologies and hyperspace towers were also the proud product of our kind's genius, your composers and fancy gimmicks don't advance anything, only provide the illusion of advancement unlike the advanced synthetic symbionts that our applied ecologists and gardeners have managed to cultivate for proper systems of life suited for the dozinist ideal instead of the contorted noise your kind calls harmony. Ulusuna: Species based insults, how unbecoming, what kind of backwater planetary existence are you perpetuating? Come on, I get you love your hierarchies and pyramids but that is just absurd. The prospectors were made by pre-stellar fosskemians and they uplifted the Utanguis not too long ago, I'm frankly unconvinced the Utanguis even would be space faring currently if it wasn't for the prospectors. The composers aren't our overlords, I get dozinists often see things in terms of overlords even when they try to play with wheels as there is always some pack master somehow and they are often somehow an Utanguis but the composers are something I had imagined a dozinist would revere more, as we are in a symbiosis with them in the same aligned goal of spreading cosmic harmony. Valvuvun: There are Alephid pack masters in our legion, Rekimite pack masters even. Your propaganda streams give our legions such little credit, merit across species lines unlike the older vusidian hierarchies our own societies rebelled against. It's so ignorant that it astounds me that you believe you're the outwards looking one even as you make such a fundamental fallacy! [overflow error]

Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:43 PM I'll admit it, I have astrophobia. You would imagine someone born on an orbital wouldn't have astrophobia. But l do. I don't even like seeing the stars when the agricultural environment density clears enough that the sky is visible, I just stay inside when that happens, it's just not worth the hassle. Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:45 PM this was from the year 12738 HE, they commuted back to Drusis after this. Why don't you just graft a forget me which cleanses that association away? Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:46 PM I don't know, I just find that my mind reels at the thought of doing that. It just isnt a necessary modification when my role is to tend to the phosphorus. And who knows what other aspects of my personality I could lose in the process? Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:47 PM I get that wariness, happens at the time for any destructive grafts as opposed to the grafts which give you nice memories. But both are altering you. Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:47 PM I dont see how it is any better than a drug. Thune Vis [Plexus] APP It won't run out on you. Yesterday at 10:48 PM
Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:49 PM Still, what interests me is what caused this phobia to form in the first place. Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:50 PM Maybe something scary I dunno. Orbitals have accidents, spacing is a scary possibility for many even those who don't develop a phobia about it. Not the strangest phobia as far as phobias go Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:51 PM True. And it is why I hesitate to remove the phobia... it may be what keeps me from being spaced. You are less likely to be careless if you are scared of the consequences. We never were meant to leave earth. Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:52 PM Fuck Earth, i'll take the endless drench of Drusis over Earth any day. It's all so fucking dry out here, have to moisterize my spaceship cabin just to feel right. Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:53 PM Drusis is not a place ive gone physically before. Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:54 PM Huh. You'd think you'd be more curious about the place clients like me are from, I know this installation cluster exports 10% of their stuff to Drusis. Hell it's why i'm here to begin with.
Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:54 PM Huh. You'd think you'd be more curious about the place clients like me are from, I know this installation cluster exports 10% of their stuff to Drusis. Hell it's why i'm here to begin with. Jilla Arifin [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:55 PM A bit unscheduled, but your identifiers were consistent. I refuse to step foot in a spaceship, no spin gravity in most of the smaller ones anyhow. Thune Vis [Plexus] APP Yesterday at 10:56 PM Well just load the phosphor crops all the same, time sensitive schedule and all that. Jilla Arifin [Plexus] Consider it done. APP Yesterday at 10:56 PM VOID [Loci] APP Yesterday at 11:00 PM Continuity note- Thune was back on Drusis by the start of 12740 HE, returning through the southern space port with the bulk phosphor shipment that was mostly given to the intended clients, but also some 'secret' clients who were connected to the inserrection. Collaboration with the local pontus insurrectionary movement was so pervasive by this point, that the local pontus government aided in covering up such a large scale supply action for specialized crops known for their use not only in extremely high yield nourishment but also as compenents in fairly specialized kinds of machinery.
A brief bit about astrophobia.

I still can't get over it. The Vanguard fell centuries ago but every simulation stream and their trajectories were so beautiful. We could have had a far more advanced and organized civilization able to stand up to the galaxy instead of this self defeating disaster of a species we have now. All we had to do was not be stupid and just understand the vision of galactic humanity that the first unifiers of the Vanguard set out after they ended the nation state bullshit earth had going on and put our species for once in its millennia of myopic idiocy on the right path. But no. The humans of earth had to make to about themselves and the colonies had no cooperative spirit, they celebrated the Vanguard falling even as the autolaws linger to this day in various sectors enforcing the laws of the Vanguard even now like they would have in a better galaxy. But in this galaxy they are obsolete automata hunted for their parts by salvagers instead of any paragons of order for a growing civilization. I can't help but pity them. Just as I can't help to pity the loyalist and secessionist holdouts found in some bunkers or the colony ships still en route to a world we already have a colony at and know will not be hospitable for them. But we let them exist in the bliss of the early vanguard as their warp bubble insulates them from the reality of their situation, always a shock for them. Some even fight the locals, so detached from what they knew they believe them to be aliens. Such incidents are projected to still from Vanguard colonial initiative vessels up to the year 13210 HE. Whatever the hell we even will be by then. I don't even know what I'll be. I am too unwilling to even predict, knowing in hindsight how in error all the Vanguard optimists had been.
They're lamenting again.

Ranting about biochemistry between a sulfuric acid dwelling alien and a subglacial alien over substrate chauvinism. Very relatable!
It escalated. Clestro says Lursokik would have frozen in an icy world without human help.
They bid each other a diplomatic farewell after clestro’s presence got local military vessels involved because clestro is like 200 vopson, not that you could be able to know that with the collective stupidity on display by their dedicated communicator.
A normal conversation.

Viktur Jiva: It is pitiful how the Grand Assembly just stands for nothing but their balances. We have a greater final truth to seek out yet we bury ourselves in concrete and let ourselves be entombed in the regolith of some bleak, distant world. We have abandoned Sol, yet we did not commit to the next step of achieving something more than the confines of our lived existence. We instead amble about like automata without direction, always confused on what to do, always lapsing into pathetic hedonism. Always failing to achieve the mission we as a species were sent here to do. Always failing to shine our light across the cosmos. Always failing to even win a single mind. It is painful to exist this way. It is painful to exist without meaning or purpose. There is no living in this state. There is no existing in this state. There is no dream in this state. Simply a soulless, blunt existence as we have rationalized ourselves out of all motivation and drive. And what drive was left, shunted by the wireheaders and forgetters. It is all just so sad. And all we have to do is do what we should have done for centuries. Delve into that sprawl world. Send a mass expedition- not simple vanity projects of some upper echelonic, but a mass popular uprising against the enigma in an act that the grand assembly can call truly grand. Imagine the purpose it would give us. Imagine the revelations and the well we'll find ourselves in as we seek the final truths of this universe instead of miring in this sterile state of being. Higher purposes cannot and should not be denied. We must make our kind free of this purposelessness! The Dealer: If I am allowed to supply the weapons, i'll go for it.

A human in a dress of some sort stands with an alien. The dress is full of eyes and their broach has a contrasting symbol on it. The Ikirmite is holding a pitchfork and has two sets of big glasses because they have that.
