I've been rewatching #stargate atlantis for the first time (Broadcast order in the UK was a bit screwy so this is my first time watching it in order)
Exactly how many times do Atlantis need to be betrayed by the Genii / Ronan betrayed by "surviving Setedans" before pattern recognition kicks in?
Ok, this has been bugging me since the first movie. Why do #Stargate s need 6 points in space to triangulate a location? 3 points uniquely defines a plane, a 4th gives you a regular triangular pyramid which has an easily calculated centroid.
The other two points before home are superfluous.
