If you haven't figured out by now, I am big FAN of @bazzite.gg #SteamOS not only for gaming, but for (almost) ALL my PC needs. Case in point is the @blender3d.bsky.social beta (4.4.0) for #Linux that now recognizes #AMD #APU #iGPUs for HW Cycles, here rendering the 'Steam Pail' on the #SteamPail.
More games need to step up to the plate like #SilentHills2 & add #FSR3.1 wo having to hack the game with #Uniscaler or #Optiscaler . The fact I can run the #SteamPail APU at 54W to achieve 60-70fps @ 1920x1200 versus 24-30fps with #FSR2 speaks volumes to the state of machine learning.
#AMD #FSR3.1.3 is the vaccine for poor AAA game perf on low-end HW like @valvesoftware.com #Steamdeck , other handhelds or even APU based systems like the @bazzite.gg #SteamPail. Case in Point: #SilentHills2 can now reach 60-75fps @ 1920x1200 in 'Performance' mode, low settings. Yet image quality...
The ($350) guts of the #SteamPail is capable running @ninjatheory.bsky.social #Hellblade2 at 1920x1280 wo black bars at 40-60fps low/medium settings using FSR 3.1.3 'Performance' mode
Full screen makes the game much more immersive at 10.5". Can't imagine at only 7" w. huge black bars.
