Sat down and just dug a hole for 5 hours, absolutely wonderful game, definitely gonna have to check out the second at some point

It starts out pretty simple, but there are upgrades to purchase above-ground and abilities to earn underground, both of which makes for progress that feels good! I also found a secret that's quite amusing and nostalgic...but I won't spoil it. 🤫

The gates were spread through all of the mines and Old World, which meant some back tracking. Which also did let me get those final upgrades! Not that I really needed them for the final threat of the Old World. BEHOLD! VOLTBOT!

Well, we had to use the Fall Dampeners for SOMETHING I suppose. I should be grateful that it’s not a pool of lava at the bottom, but at least that would have made my demise all the faster. Now I actually get to dodge all the painful things! Most of the time.

It's short enough to basically be a one-nighter, but that gameplay loop of Dig, Sell Mined Ore, Upgrade to Dig even Deeper, is a addictive dopamine treadmill.
