I'm happy to have been able to take my first #stetwalk in a week. I'm still coughing a bit and am slightly stuffy, but it gave my mood a huge boost to be out in the sun and to hear the snow melting.
The rain stopped for a few hours so I went out to play this morning 😍

On today's #stetwalk, I got to see Ladybug, an older Chihuahua mix who often looks like she disapproves of everything and everyone. She literally has resting bitch face.
She can a bit iffy with strangers, but seemed happy enough to see me and get a couple of gloved pets (still in the mid-20s here).
Photo of snow and bare trees bathed in a pink light with wispy clouds above.
Just a lil timeline cleanse from a recent #stetwalk
Also, I’d forgotten about this amazing clock in Paddington (London).

It's kind of amazing how much warmer 37⁰F (3⁰C) feels than 25⁰F (-4⁰C). (Canadians, don't laugh!) #StetWalk #StetRun
A residential street with several inches of snow covering the pavements, gardens and rooftops. A thin strip of black tarmac shows the roadway, narrower than usual, due to the snow encroaching on it, and still a bit slushy. The sky is overcast but looks a little brighter in the distance.
Popped out for a #stetwalk to the local store in my lunchbreak. So glad to be able to work from home when the weather's like this. Take care if you're out and about (hey, even if there's no snow where you are, take care anyway!).

A dusty-brick-colored fortress against a dramatic backdrop of fang-like mountains.
Back from a wonderful visit to Oman—sea, desert, mountains, lovely people and amazing food. I want to go again! Tomorrow, I will return to work but am editing photos for today. #stetwalk
Swan standing on a frozen pond, stretching its wings out, backlit by the sun.
I’m easing in to 2026. Not back at work yet, and started this morning in the frost at Bushy Park. Lucky timing with this swan!

A northern English duck pond in early January, mostly frozen over, with two distant moorhens on the ice and hardly a duck in sight.
Happy new year, duckies, wherever you are.

Henry, a massive grey brindle Irish wolfhound, lies on the floor of the hotel lobby beside a fancy white armchair, looking at the camera as if being photographed regularly in public is no more than his due (as it is).
Gorgeous! We had a lovely sunny afternoon and my husband and I walked with Henry to the fancy hotel on Main Street for a mocha & snack (us) and lots of admiration from passers-by (Henry). #stetwalk

Midday in the arctic at a new year. Snowy path between trees ending at the ocean.
Wobbling into the new year.

Riverside sunset photo. The sun is setting on the far side of the river, behind trees. In the foreground are birds on the water.
The last sunset of 2025. Happy New Year!
