Marco Rubio, deboarding a plane with another man, is about to step off of the boarding stairs onto a very short red carpet that looks to be only a bit longer than Rubio is tall. If that red carpet is longer than eight feet, two feet of it are under the stairs. Two women stand beside the carpet, in reception. It's a grey but bright day, and there is a large puddle on the ground at the side and end of the red carpet. The red carpet ends in a puddle. He is going to have to walk in that puddle.
This red carpet is clearly an insult, well-deserved, and well-executed.
Text over the image, in white letters outlined in thin black lines, reads, "I've stepped out of the shower onto bigger bathmats than Marco Rubio's Canadian red carpet."
People think Canadians are nice, and we are, until given a reason not to be.
