👏 We achieved a 12.4% reduction in average added sugars in our #SoftDrinks across the EU-27 and the UK between 2019 and 2024!

👏 This exceeds our 2019-2025 sugar reduction target of 10%.

✅ We achieved a 12.4% reduction in average added sugars in our #SoftDrinks across the EU-27 and the UK between 2019 and 2024!

We innovate for many reasons, especially to:

🌟 Respond to consumers’ evolving needs. Innovation enables us to continue our #SugarReduction efforts largely through the use of no/low-calorie #sweeteners, to expand the range of beverages we offer to encourage consumers toward more balanced diets

Now, the new goal is to achieve a further 10% reduction by 2028.

✅ For years, the Swiss soft drinks sector has been actively driving #SugarReduction and today around 40% of soft drinks in the country are no/low-calorie.

A new report from Portugal’s Directorate-General of Health and the food and drink industry reveals that the Portuguese #SoftDrinks sector has achieved an impressive average #SugarReduction of 25.7% between 2018 and 2023 – well above the sector’s 10% target set in 2019.
