In Orting, Level 2 evacuation notices were lifted for: High Cedars Golf Course community Leach Road loop including 150th Avenue East, 188th Street East, 184th Street East, 176th Street East, 168th Street East 177th Street East and Patterson Road East, off SR 162/Pioneer Way East Neighborhoods within the City of Orting and 116th Street East between 151st Court East and Dan & Bill’s RV Park are still under evacuation notices, according to Central Pierce Fire & Rescue on Facebook.

Orting evacuation updates Level 3 evacuation remains in place in the Village Green Williams Boulevard Northwest area of Orting. Orting staff and police kept a watch over levees throughout the night, according to the city on Facebook. Water levels went down slightly before the rain returned around 3 a.m. There is an evacuation center at the multi-purpose center at 202 Washington Ave. S. behind the Orting Library that is open from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Anyone in need of transportation assistance can contact the Pierce County Emergency Operations Center at 253-798-6595.
