If you bind 192.168.1.10:8080 AND 0.0.0.0:8080 (same port) on the same host, the specific binding takes precedence.
The wildcard doesn't override—it fills the gaps.

When you call `connect()`, the OS chooses your source port.
It’s not pure randomness.
It selects an ephemeral port from a configured range (e.g. 32768–60999 on many Linux systems).
Bind a server inside that range and you may hit “Address already in use.”
