DK는 지난해 11월 부산 공연을 시작으로 서울, 대구, 고양에 이어 지난 14일 광주까지 총 5개 도시 무대에 서며 장기간 일정을 소화했다. DK, 부산·서울·대구·고양·광주 5개 도시 투어…발라드·팝·댄스 넘나든 세트리스트. (사진=메이저나인) 공연에서 DK는 ‘TIMELESS’라는 키워드를 중심에 두고 자신의 음악과 시간이 묻어 있는 순간들을 무대에 담았다. 그는 지나온 활동 속에서 남은 감정들을 공연장에 저장하듯 펼쳐 보이며 관객들에게 잊기 어려운 시간을 선사했다. 세트리스트는 본인의 대표곡을 중심으로 구성됐다. DK는 대중에게 큰 사랑을 받은 ‘별이될게’, ‘언제나 사랑해’, ‘RETURN(리턴)’을 비롯해 평소 쉽게 접하기 어려웠던 곡들까지 포함해 각 지역 팬들을 찾았다. 이 과정에서 더욱 깊어진 감성과 보컬을 전면에 내세웠다. 섬세한 표현과 호소력 짙은 목소리를 기반으로 한 무대로, 공연장을 찾은 관객들의 귀뿐 아니라 감각 전반을 겨냥한 구성이 이어졌다. 자신의 곡들 외에도 다양한 장르와 시대를 넘나드는 커버 무대가 펼쳐졌다. DK는 그동안 수많은 이별 발라드를 통해 이른바 ‘DK표 이별 발라드’로 불리는 곡들을 선보여 왔다. 섬세한 감정선과 짙은 보이스를 내세운 작업을 이어오며 대중의 사랑을 받아왔고, 지난 1월에는 첫 번째 미니앨범 ‘RETURN’을 발매하는 등 음반 활동도 병행하고 있다. 투어를 성공적으로 끝낸 DK는 이번 공연에서 쌓은 경험을 바탕으로 다음 국면을 준비한다. 앞으로도 다양한 콘텐츠를 통해 팬들과 만날 계획이다.
