One of the things for Shockwave that Tasky had planned ahead was that she would have a human-form based on the body of Monica Rambeau/Photon/Captain Marvel. So not only did we get a feminine Cybertronian design, but a really fun outfit that calls back to her real body.

The final member of @tasky.bsky.social's custom set; Shockwave was a very fun challenge, but she came together real solidly once the initial kinks were worked out. (Comm)

Evil-Lyn has had alot of different designs, so we had alot to draw from - that said it was the 200X series that offered the strongest inspiration for our design. And yes, that is the Eye of Agamotto on her belt.

Evil Lyn might have taken the most figuring out design wise, but I really dig what @tasky.bsky.social and I came up with. (Comm)

Shadow Weaver borrows alot from the 2018 incarnation, but that such an amazing version of her - can you blame us? We ended up going through alot of ideas for masks, hoods, and combinations of the two - and I think the half-mask we went with works great for this take on the character. The heavy scarring and wild black hair of the newer version was a definite keep, and the outfit works in a bit of both her classic look, her 2018 look, and still does some new fun stuff.

The custom Shadow Weaver for @tasky.bsky.social took a bit of work, but I am really pleased with the outcome. (Comm)

One of the first things we did was make her bigger; not just more muscular, but actually taller. Swapping out the more tattered outfit for leather armor and tweaking the tiara a tad completed her new style. Then we did the skin coloration - adding in lighter tones on the palms, chest, and soles, then the darker patches on the shoulders and such to give a bit more texturing - which I really love! I think it adds alot to her. (Also our tweaked versions of her teeth and how her red glow eyes look.) She just looks so dang good!

There was alot of neat stuff discussed when we worked on Asajj, including whether or not she should have hair. (We ended up giving her both a shaved and hair look. Grown ass woman can have more than one look!) We tried to work in some Jedi vibes, some Nightsisters, and some of her canon style. Also grippers out, cause that just felt right! (And Yoda would approve.)

Next up is @tasky.bsky.social's custom Asajj Ventress, I'm especially pleased with her robe! (Comm)

It took a bit of fiddling to settle on this final look, but it was really fun. We did a mix of the Udon suit with elements from the MCU designs and the classic look. We also came up with some fun little details that we might get to show in future pics.

The first of a very fun set of pics, where @tasky.bsky.social had me design custom versions of her fave characters to be used in future art.
