First day of surgeon-approved ‘running’ on my new hip.
Six weeks ago, they sawed my femur in half to perform the surgery.

To my cancer mate community, I have been quiet for a while as my husband was diagnosed with a second distinct cancer. He has now completed his initial treatment and he is NED as of today! While he will be on maintenance treatment, this is such good news. 🥳

Your habits weren't perfect before cancer, and they certainly aren't going to be after treatment.
Eat a cookie every now and then. It won't catalyze cancer to recur. Stressing over every decision might.
