Have been listening to the Observer's podcast on #TheSaltPath scandal recently, and then ran into this c18th poem, part of the furious Irish response to the notorious A Tour in Ireland in 1775 by Richard Twiss ("Let Every One Piss On Lying Dick Twiss"). Travel writers, eh? Plus ça change!

We just watched #TheSaltPath and found it a wonderful film. Even this spiteful article acknowledges that “No one has argued that Raynor Winn and Moth didn’t go on a physical and spiritual journey. There’s truth in The Salt Path.” So swallow the spite!
