Mit einem Trailer wurde heute bekannt, dass der Drama-Manga »Wārudo Izu Dānshingu« von Kazuto Mihara eine Anime-Adaption erhält. Passend dazu wurden ein Teaser Visual sowie eine Illustration von Kazuto Mihara zur Ankündigung veröffentlicht. Die Ausstrahlung ist für Sommer 2026 im japanischen TV geplant. »The World is Dancing« entsteht nach Vorlage des Manga von Kazuto Mihara. Toshimasa Kuroyanagi führt Regie (Fune wo Amu, Bakuten!!), das Charakterdesign übernimmt Keigo Sasaki. In der Hauptrolle ist Yumiri Hanamori als Oniyasha zu hören. Produziert wird die Animation bei CygamesPictures (Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, The Summer Hikaru Died). Die Manga-Reihe lief in Japan von März 2021 bis Oktober 2022 im Morning-Magazin von Kodansha und ist mit sechs Bänden abgeschlossen. Der Manga ist hierzulande nicht auf Deutsch erhältlich, eine englische Übersetzung gibt es bei Kodansha USA. 📜 Beschreibung 》 Oniyasha wächst im Japan des 14. Jahrhunderts in einer reisenden Theatertruppe auf, wo Tanz und Schauspiel sein Alltag sind. Doch mit 12 fragt er sich ständig, warum in dieser Kunst alles so streng wirkt: Warum genau dieser Schritt, warum gilt eine Aufführung als gut und eine andere als schlecht, warum tanzen Menschen überhaupt? Erst eine zufällige Begegnung in einer heruntergekommenen Hütte bringt ihn auf einen neuen Weg, der sein Verständnis von Kunst komplett verändert...
