When women are no longer oppressed, disfigured, or killed in the name of religion. When LGBTQ+ people are no longer legislated to second class citizens in the name of religion. When laws are no longer created to keep people from making decisions about their own life and their own body in the name of religion. When doctors can no longer deny crucial healthcare in the name of religion. When children are no longer indoctrinated with bigotry, fear, and hate in the name of religion. When it is no longer claimed that faith is greater than knowledge… Then, and only then, will I lay down my banner of anti-theism.
Alright, here's the deal, #theists: I will refrain from posting about theism or atheism each day until I encounter a theist (IRL or online) which brings up atheism/ts. I may then engage w/ roughly the same level of annoyance as I get from the post.
Fair? I think so.

Thanks for engaging Rev. Egan. The vast majority of UUs block me when I call attention to serious problems in #UUism. Reference to God & Jesus was long ago erased from #UU hymnals etc. I speak from 3 decades worth of experience & observation. I & other #theists have faced intolerance of our beliefs.
