Being involved with House Of Deviant has helped me to be proud of who I am, and celebrate my neurodiversity.
Understanding my neurodivergence has been the best thing ever for me! It's helped me to understand my true, unmasked self and has also given me the chance to help and support others. Often, the people I support say I make them feel understood and seen, which is a rare experience for them.
Neurodiversity to me means that I'm different - but that I can use that difference to give me confidence. It gives me confidence to talk to new people, and to be me.
It's so important to work together to educate ourselves about neurodiversity in our communities. I hope that as we continue to learn, understand and accept, we can set the tone for the next generation of neurodiverse people to thrive.
As we continue through this Neurodiversity Celebration Week 2025, here is our second instalment of quotes from across Innovate Trust, sharing insights, advice, thoughts and experiences. #NeurodiversityCelebrationWeek #NCW #NeurodiversityWeek #ThisIsND
