Background: The rivalry between Ti'Kar and Darqueness dates all the way back to their childhood, becoming more bitter as the years passed. Because of his naturally noble nature coupled with his ferocity, Ti'Kar is able to naturally command respect en route to becoming the first true Titan King. Darqueness, however, seeks to cultivate obedience through fear. While Ti'Kar sees to maintain the balance of the multiverse, Darqueness wants to control it off. As such, the two become locked into an eternal back and forth battle.
