The tabletop RPG world is mourning the loss of Tim Kask, one of the original Dungeons & Dragons pioneers and an early architect of the game that inspired generations of players. Kask passed away at 76.

Found out that Tim Kask passed away last night. One of the original (I believe the first actually) TSR employees. I had the pleasure of meeting Tim a few times and I will always treasure those conversations.

#TimKask ran a session for us!!!! I was already honored just to listen to his stories beside #MariaKAlberto, and even more so to join his table. A standout moment was hearing him talk about using RPGs in the classroom—moving and powerful, especially given my own PhD research.
