Root rips rock. Heavy light locks hard. Breath bulks, a boulder in the throat. Smoke threads unspool, vanish in the vent. The groove, the grind, the grit. Iron cools in the mold. Air thickens, holding the shape of the strike.
#Poetry #TimeAndMemory I've been thinking a lot lately about distraction vs novelty and how that leads to well known perceptions of time and memory as different. This is still a #WIP. The iron in the mold, to me, feels now like it comes out of nowhere although it arises from the imagery.
