Most of these schmancy time management systems come from corporations trying to make shit tons of money out of people trying to control their time. Capitalism relies on these people in power being able to control other people's time - when to show up, when to work, what to do when, when to take breaks, deadlines... These days, most time management tools are coming from people who have a vested interest in keeping people from being able to control their own time. The automation or the app might make things easier in the short run, but it means we aren't in control.
Corporate-controlled time management tools serve corporate capitalist agendas - not just making money off of your need for the tool, but taking over YOUR control of YOUR time.
