Nandor (brown and white), Marwa (tortie), Nadja (snowshoe Siamese) & Laszlo (tuxedo) were found under a bush. We were called to collect them when they started playing close to the road and the finder was afraid they would run out in front of a car.
Bacon, Waffles, Eggs, and Gravy are a little spicy, but they'll sweeten up in no time!
Smokey (grey), Chase (orange), Daisy (tortie), and Jinx (black) love napping together in a big pile.
Something we see a lot in rescue is "I'll let her have one litter before I get her spayed." Cats can start breeding as young as 4 months old, and yes, siblings can and will breed. Your one cat could become 12 or more in under a year. #Neuter and #spay right away! #togetherwesave #catrescue #kittens

Puffball, a beautiful Siamese, snuggles one of her gorgeous white kittens.
Karma, a mostly feral tabby mom, has been raising her kittens at the shelter since the day after their birth. When they're old enough to leave her she will be spayed and returned to her outdoor community cat life. She has made it clear that she is not suited to be a pet at this time, but she has an outdoor cat house to go home to and her caretaker will continue to work with her. If she ever warms up to people we will welcome her back with open arms.

What happens when a very floofy cat lives outside for a year? Exposure to the elements and lack of brushing causes the fur to felt into mats. The mats can't be untangled, they have to be cut off.
