And just to say (as my current username tag thingie surely suggests), and having apparently just created the #TooManyDice tag, this obviously refers to the number being needed for any given roll... And never for how many dice a dice goblin can or should actually own or covet 🎲🤣

Just to add, the difficulty modifier also equals sum of d10 rolled against, so a group of five conspirators would be +4d10¹ to the lead conspirator's skill roll, but +8d10 to the difficulty they had to beat... While six conspirators would be +5d10 to skill, and +13d10 to difficulty.
