‘The Hunt for Ben Solo’ Fan Campaign Launches Toys for Tots Fundraiser The fan group behind stunts like flying planes above Disney shareholder calls and putting up Time Square billboards to try and save _The Hunt for Ben Solo_ has now set up something festive for the holidays. This Wednesday, November 19, they’re kicking off a two-day silent auction benefiting Toys for Tots, the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve–led charity that provides Christmas gifts to children in need. The online auction runs from November 19 at 6:30 p.m. EST to November 21 at the same time. Items include signed photos of Kylo Ren (by Adam Driver), Amilyn Holdo (by Laura Dern), and even a porg (by puppeteer Brian Herring). Also available are custom-made paintings and prints of Ben Solo holding a pile of _Star Wars_ toys, created by artist James Hance. You can browse the full item list here. The campaign is also taking direct donations to Toys for Tots outside of the auction. You can find a link to that page here. He served for just under three years before being medically discharged. During a 2015 Ted Talk, Driver said joining the marines “was one of the things I’m most proud of having done in my life,” adding: > “I found I loved the Marine Corps the most for the thing I was looking for the least when I joined, which was the people — a weird motley crew of characters from a cross section of the United States that on the surface I had nothing in common with… Over time, all the political and personal bravado that led me to the military dissolved.
