Today is my daughter’s 13th birthday.
She’s trans. Her older sibling is nonbinary.
For the last 10 weeks, all I could focus on was getting them to a sanctuary state by today.
So many people didn’t understand. I don’t know if they do now. All I know is my kids are protected. #TransParenting
