#TransitToTrails includes bike trails.
You can take the Diamond Express from Eugene's Amtrak Station, Mon-Sat. Get off at Westridge Middle School, then cut over to Westfir Rd, hang a left to hop on the route.
Tons of camping near Cougar Reservoir so sounds like a promising #BikePacking outing.

A hand holding an alfajor coated with crumbs of the same kind of crackers used to form the alfajor sandwich. In the background is grass and fallen leaves.
A path along the edge of a field. Two metal folding chairs are set up to look out on the field. There are a lot of leaves on the ground, and many bare branches on the trees. All the visible leaves are brown.
A narrow road curves between two embankments covered with evergreen vines. Yellow leaves are on the ground and in some trees. A small tree still bears red leaves. A green conifer is by the road further up the hill.
On Friday I took the LIRR to Oyster Bay, bought empanadas and alfajores at the Home Sweet Home Cafe, and walked a mile south of town on quiet roads to the Tiffany Creek Preserve. The trails make for a nice quiet circuit in the woods!
