Trump’s Next Round of Tariffs—25% on Steel and Aluminum—Won’t Be So Easily Averted President Trump delayed aggressive tariffs on imports from Canada and Mexico, but people close to him warn that more duties are coming—and won’t so easily be averted.

Trump just announced 25% tariffs on all #steel and #aluminum imports. #China does not sell directly to the US but instead dump them cheaply on the global markets which inevitably enter US markets thru what is called a #transshipment. This undermines US industry prices.
