This is episode 200 of #ATC2x and it is a good one. #TurfHacks
Plotting sunshine hours (or solar radiation) vs. temperature is a good way to identify locations with similar and dissimilar growing environments for turf. #TurfHacks

If the organic matter doesn't get produced in the first place, we don't need to be as worried about breaking it down, removing it, or diluting it. #TurfHacks #OM246

This is episode 176 and covers PAR from many angles. I encourage all turf managers to become familiar with PAR and what it is (or what is lacking) at your location. #TurfHacks
Speed and firmness discussed from a recent tournament. Also some info here about calculating averages for a set of soil nutrient data when there is a lower limit of 0 but no upper limit #TurfHacks
New ATC blog post about an especially effective way to calculate the central tendency (or average) of soil test data #TurfHacks
Here's a useful guide about pesticide performance and water chemistry. I recommend keeping this for reference. #TurfHacks
Here is an explanation of an easy way to get an estimate of maximum nutrient use for any grass. #MLSN #TurfHacks
The thumbnail didn't show up, so I'll get right to the point by sharing this chart from that post. You can find the #ClipVol range at which you get the desired green speed. #TurfHacks
New #ATC2x episode about pendulum swings in N supply and sand topdressing. Are #ClipVol, #TurfGvX, and #OM246 anything different? I suggest it will take some decades to find out, but I think they are. Also, industry veterans, historical N rates, & more #TurfHacks.

I've also included an example calculation in the BTME handout linked here, showing how I go from an N application of 10 kg/ha to a maximum #ClipVol production of 330 mL/m2. #TurfHacks www.asianturfgrass.com/seminar/ctl-...
Did you know it's easy to predict the maximum quantity of clippings produced for a known amount of N supplied? #TurfHacks #TurfGvX #ClipVol
I've received a few inquiries about #clipvol and #turfGvX spreadsheets. This new PACE Turf member update has links to the PACE Turf spreadsheets. #TurfHacks

This has a video and a newsletter article about Zoysia sod harvest only 45 days after planting, and the production method and variety that makes this possible. #TurfHacks
Even I find myself referring to this #MLSN cheat sheet every now and then. For example, I just did now, to check the MLSN minimums for Olsen and Bray2 phosphorus. You might find this handy sometimes too. #TurfHacks

Sometimes people ask about nutrient availability. If you have questions about that, do a soil test. "Chemical soil analysis – soil testing – is a ... rapid and inexpensive procedure for obtaining information on nutrient availability in soils" #TurfHacks
I haven't shared this one for a while. This is what I call the "killer feature" of #OM246 testing. Being able to calculate the OM accumulation rate allows you to find the exact sand topdressing requirement. #TurfHacks vimeo.com/559391502?sh...

I recommend paying attention to the annual total of #ClipVol. This video explains why. Basically, the total amount of aboveground growth is related to playability, soil OM, & nutrients, among other things. #TurfHacks youtu.be/8DdekceL9jE
