My first and so far only #ultraman inspired #tokusatsu character, gen7 is based both on #ultraseven and #ultramantiga. I liked the idea of the giant hero being the secret 7th member of a group so I kept it as part of their story, the green colour and watch device might be partially thanks to #ben10

I often forget and some first time viewers of the Ultra series is that the first Ultra shows were Sci-Fi shows. It wasn't until Ace where they shift from a sci-fi to superhero.
