FDA could hike user fees for ex-US drug programmes FDA mulls reduced fees for programmes with US-based phase 1 trials, and higher fees for those tested overseas, to incentivise US R&D.

The next iteration of FDA #userfees could see the charges for programmes that run clinical #earlystagetrials in the #US fall, and rise for those in which studies are conducted abroad, in a bid to #incentivise domestic #drugdevelopment.
