Summer months typically see increased energy consumption due to higher temperatures and increased air conditioner use; cooling a home to 75 degrees when it’s 90 degrees outside requires 125% more electricity than when it’s 85 degrees outside. Customers facing difficulties with bill payments are encouraged to contact PSE&G to explore available assistance programs.
