A large crowd gathered at Vic parliament steps during a smoking ceremony as part of the Walk for Truth.
Today Travis Lovett finished walking over 500kms from Portland to Parliament on the #WalkForTruth. More than 10,000 Victorians joined him at various stages. Really powerful moment and a real privilege to be part of it. Truth telling laid the foundation, now it's time for Treaty!

The walk, led by Yoorrook's Deputy Chair Commissioner Travis Lovett, started on Sunday 25 May in Portland and finished at Parliament House on Wednesday 18 June. Thousands joined in the #WalkForTruth and the call for Treaty.
After walking more than 400km across Victoria, the #WalkForTruth arrives at Parliament House today, carrying the voices and lessons of 4 years of truth-telling led by the Yoorrook Justice Commission.
