A large rainbow, turquoise and navy blue shawl. The fabric is five scarf width vertical sections sewn together selvedge to selvedge. The outer and middle panels combine rainbow spectrum sections of different lengths with varying textured yarns with turquoise on navy geometric, spiral and sea life motifs: peace symbol, seahorse, diamond twills, scallop shell, double spiral, etc. The two panels in between the other three are mixed green, teal and turquoise Saori style weavings. Colorful and fantastical design. Rainbow refractions through water and clouds. Life and shapes. The different hues and shades of ocean water, from aqua to deep blue.
