This week’s #WeeklyRead is Our Oaken Bones by Merlin Hanbury‑Tenison. 🌿 A powerful blend of memoir & nature writing, it follows his return to Cabilla on Bodmin Moor and the discovery of rare Atlantic temperate rainforest — and the challenge of restoring it. #kresenkernow #cornwallsarchives

And the latest #WeeklyRead - well they killed a few hours on trains I guess.

Double #WeeklyRead this week. Nothing terribly mind taxing but both with twists good enough. My approach to library books tends to be something I've reserved plus a random grab off the shelves.

Last week's #WeeklyRead Good enough to make me want to keep on reading another chapter, did the time hopping stuff OK and enough of nod to history to make it worthwhile. Finished and returned.

Just finished this one as my #weeklyread. Oddly enough, the series was recommended by a friend with similar interests, and odder still, as I began to read, it seemed I'd read - or started to read it back around 2005.

Anyway, not bad; I'll likely get the rest of the series fairly soon.

Cover of Decentralizing Knowledges edited by Leandro Rodriguez Medina and Sandra Harding. The cover features a photograph of an art installation by Sarah Sze. Sze's large sculpture is made of steel bars that form a vast, open framework in the shape of a sphere. Attached to the framework are images of a New York sky (printed on metal) that resemble torn pieces of paper.

A book with the title Tragrdy on the Branch Line by Edward Marston.

Last week's #WeeklyRead - really enjoyed this (transport and murder surely not) and it was a good pay off for abandoning a biography of Mr Believe It or Not Ripley which I made me dislike him even more.

Unexpected second #WeeklyRead Edward Marston's "Murder on the Marmora" Think I prefer the railway series, still interesting enough with some historical footnotes.

Totally enjoyed this, not as straightforward boy doesn't meet girl as it might look. Good bit of plot twist. #WeeklyRead
