『ウイニングポスト7』を160年以上やってると現実の血統の流れと似てくると感じます。スピード因子を求めると短距離化してしまいます。グラスワンダー（有馬記念）からスクリーンヒーロー（JC）、モーリス（秋天）、そしてピクシーナイト（スプリンター）のよう。とうとうトップガン系統に適距離が1000mの馬…。
長距離タイプにスピード因子を加えるのは難しい…。馬単体でスピードがあっても因子は付かない。スピード因子のない血統を残し続けるのは根気が必要です。
