In May '24 the #SocialSecurityAdvisoryCommittee received regulations on changes to #WorkCapabilityAssessment descriptors. A General Election meant scrutiny couldn't be completed. A judicial review has since found the consultation for these changes was unlawful & DWP has withdrawn the regs but... 1/2

These reforms would lead to over 400,000 people being worse off by at least £416 a month.

Today our client Ellen Clifford is in the High Court, challenging the DWP over a rushed and disingenuous consultation that was held on reforms tightening the #WorkCapabilityAssessment.
