I had a cool linguistic realization about the word #wythnos (“week”) in #Welsh #Cymraeg. I had already learned the word and the word for night (“nos”), but it wasn’t until I finished a unit on numbers that I suddenly saw that “wythnos” literally means #EightNights. #semaine #septimana #septjours 🏴 🇫🇷
