Working on the railroad. Can you say “Zmall”? I’m just dabbling in the small scale. I think it’s cool but is IS pricey.
A set is $350+ most everything is ala carte & it’s expensive.
Wasn’t difficult to paint the loco or caboose. Decals not hard either. #modeltrains #sooline #Zscale

A tiny locomotive for sale on Ebay, part of the listing shown here. The odd green locomotive is very boxy and looks from the early 20th century, and is sitting next to a quarter standing on edge. The quarter (wyoming state quarter, back of) is very close to exaclty twice the height of the locomotive's cab. The price to "buy now" is $16995.99 and it is listed by "sumgai" https://ebay.us/m/n6kylv

Happiness is a working #zscale model railroad loop. Success at this scale is measured by whether you can go build a trainset that can go around the loop without losing any cars.

It's not brass or anything. In fact, it's one of the least expensive locomotives you can get in #zscale model railroading, but this EF66 is definitely a favorite. Look at this locomotive face!

At scale, that DD51 must be going 10 times faster than real life. These #zscale model trains have little traction wheels underneath so they take off like miniature dragsters.

Overhead of the 26" x 36" #zscale model railroad showing much still to be done:
- replaced tunnel turnout with a full-length one so redo that area
- finish bridge
- more track joining/fixing needed
- railyard (track) in that big empty area
- trees
- buildings
- flip it over, make wiring nicer
