We wrote the article (link above) on the importance of grain being malted to try and spark a discussion of the old 'bread or beer' hypothesis. Because there's no beer without #malt & malt sugars. We reckon that making malt sugars had to be discovered before any sort of #ale or #beer could be made. 🏺
