One part of Alois/Leopold that I find really compelling is the way in which Alois' determination not to lose anyone else (after his bio family, Jeralt twice and his wife) motivates Leo to keep living so that Alois won't have another name to add to that list.

I just discovered Leopold is actually a short king.
That was my original impression, but I was told he was actually about 180 cm (5'10'').
Linhardt is 177 cm tall. Caspar is 173.
Bro is not 180 lmfao. I'd say he's 1-2 cms taller than Caspar, which means he could be exactly as tall as Alois.
